Meeting Rooms

The library offers several types of meeting rooms to meet the needs of the community at five of our locations. To reserve a room, please read below.

Corning Branch – The Corning Branch does not have a designated meeting room space, but an open area that can be reserved. Please note that this space is not private and activity throughout the library can be heard.

Junction City Branch – The Junction City Branch has a meeting room that can comfortably fit 15 to 20 people.

New Lexington Library – The New Lexington Library has a meeting room that is set up with six (6) tables and twelve (12) chairs in an “I” shape. 15 to 20 people can comfortably fit in the room with tables set up. 30 to 35 people can fit comfortably in the room with no tables.

Somerset Branch – The Somerset Branch has a variety of meeting spaces for you to choose from:

Meeting Room A: Has a maximum occupancy of 68 people. A digital screen and sink are available in this room.

Meeting Room B: Has a maximum occupancy of 59 people. A digital screen and an outside entrance are available in this room.

A&B Combined: Has a maximum occupancy of 127 people. Two digital screens, a sink, and an outside entrance are available in this room. 

Study Room: Can fit four (4) to six (6) people comfortably. A digital screen is available in this room.

Thornville Branch – The Thornville Branch has a meeting room that can comfortably fit up to ten (10) people. A white board that can also double as a projection screen is available in this room.
 

Conditions of Meeting Room Use

Groups requesting to reserve a meeting room must meet the guidelines as set forth by the library’s meeting room policy. Please read the Meeting Room Policy before requesting a room.

For-Profit groups/individuals may use the meeting rooms for a fee as set by library policy.

No private functions/parties will be permitted.

If you require setup and/or tear-down time, please include that in your reservation.
